Harvey Elliott returns to full training for Liverpool next week

Jurgen Klopp and co. receives a major boost as Harvey Elliott is all set to return for full training from next week. As concerns mount over the Reds midfield, the Liverpool midfielder will be welcomed by open arms.

12th September 2021, the date when Liverpool travelled to Elland Road to face Leed United and who knew that would be Elliott’s last game in that year. The Leeds defender Pascal Struijk caught up in an incident with the LFC midfielder which eventually led to a fracture-dislocation in Harvey’s left ankle.

The 18-year-old was quite impressive in the opening games he played this season. Moreover, the teenager was also able to earn his place in the first team with his impressive display.

However, Elliott is yet to open his account of goals & assist for Liverpool. But, looking at his progress he might return soon and will fight again for his place in the starting XI.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s midfield looks shabby at the moment. With Thiago out due to hip injury, the Reds are struggling to find some creativity in the middle of the park. Moreover, captain Henderson and Mr reliable James Milner were finding it quite difficult to break Arsenal’s defense line. While Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also scuffling and has been unable to deliver.

As Curtis Jones is currently filling the void shoes left behind by Mane, who is on AFCON duty, Liverpool are in requirement of some fresh blood in the midfield.
