Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is set to leave BVB Dortmund as the club wants to get rid of the player due to his poor attitude.
Emre Can is involved in a dispute with Borussia Dortmund that could result in his departure from the German team this summer due to his negative attitude.
Can joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen for £9.75 million in 2014. He scored 14 goals in 166 games for them between 2014 and 2018. After failing to reach a new contract agreement, he departed the team and joined Juventus. Can spent 18 months in Turin before moving on to Dortmund.
He first signed a loan agreement for the second half of the 2019–20 season. And for an additional £22.5 million, the agreement was made permanent. He has appeared 83 times in total for Jurgen Klopp’s previous team.

Can’s behaviour, though, is still irritating his teammates and Dortmund manager Edin Terzic. Additionally, the Black and Yellows would like to move the midfielder if a suitable offer came in, according to the German publication BILD. This is because his on-field accomplishments cannot excuse his conduct off the field.
According to the report, Can is loud and self-assured by nature, but club authorities are growing impatient with him. The midfielder has frequently lectured and annoyed teammates. Additionally, he reportedly interrupted former coach Marco Rose at a squad meeting last year.
Can has a contract with the Westfalenstadion through 2024. But Terzic, who took over as manager permanently earlier this summer after serving in an interim capacity for the 2020–21 season, is keeping an eye on the player. According to reports, Dortmund’s manager and sporting director Sebastian Kehl have the same viewpoint.
The £8.5 million-per-year midfielder is now out with an injury after beginning preseason with muscle problems. Can has experienced this frequently during his time in Germany, missing 17 competitive games last year due to physical issues.
Can’s future is uncertain because it may be challenging for Dortmund to let the midfielder go because of his hefty salary and lengthy contract.
