According to Journalist Fabrizio Romano, Klopp is keen on bringing Bellingham to Anfield.

The rumours around Jude Bellingham and Liverpool are the most notable transfer market development this winter.

Everyone and their dog know Liverpool’s interest in signing the England player. Bellingham’s reputation has risen even further due to his outstanding World Cup accomplishments. Now that several top teams are vying for his services, Liverpool’s efforts may be in vain.

However, Liverpool has Jurgen Klopp as their dynamic and compelling manager. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano’s monthly blog for CaughtOffside, Klopp is pushing for the Bellingham to Liverpool project to be completed.

Romano writes about the desire of Klopp to bring Bellingham

Romano writes:

“Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea. These are the clubs always mentioned regarding Bellingham.

Manchester United are also in the race. But it’s going to be more difficult for them. Nothing has changed yet. Nothing will be decided now.

Jurgen Klopp is pushing for the deal. But it’s not decided, agreed or done yet. Once Borussia Dortmund will communicate the price tag, we will see! It will be more than the rumoured €100m.”

This past weekend, Liverpool also saw progress in their quest for Bellingham. Real Madrid reportedly desired Enzo Fernandez as a result. Madrid might spend the money set up for Bellingham if it manages to secure Fernandez.

Although it is a more traditional approach, there are instances when it is necessary. Specific deals will only be over if the management involves itself in the discussion.

And that is a strategy that can be applied when Liverpool has a manager like Jurgen Klopp.

In any case, Bellingham appears to be leaning toward the Reds. If Klopp moves things forward here, he might just be able to close the deal.

Moreover, Bellingham’s performances in this World Cup have Liverpool fans already on their feet.
