Liverpool are linked heavily with Borussia Dortmund star young prodigy Jude Bellingham. The 18-year-old England international was signed for 25 million pounds by Borussia Dortmund after his first senior carrier with Birmingham City. The transfer made him the most expensive seventeen-year-old in history.

The 18-year-old’s form since moving to Dortmund has become a key for the Bundesliga club. Which has seen him linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Liverpool Chelsea, and Manchester United.

Bellingham has scored 3 goals and 7 assists in 15 games this season. He has also been a regular starter in the Dortmund Line-up.

Will Liverpool be able sign Bellingham from Dortmund ?

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Liverpool have shown their interest in signing Bellingham. Moreover, Dortmund also revealed that there is no release clause in his current contract.

As Jurgen Klopp is trying to improve and build a future team for the Reds. Jude Bellingham would be ideal and perfect for Liverpool. Thus, Bellingham has become one of the primary targets for Klopp in the next summers transfer window.

Bellingham is performing brilliantly in his role and since he is just 18 years old, Dortmund has no interest in selling him as he can become a great player. Confirming Liverpool’s interest in the young prodigy Dortmund’s head of first-team football, Sebastian Kehl said

There’s a lot of interest around Jude Bellingham, not only Liverpool.

He further added saying

But there is no bottom line and no exit clause. He is loved, he enjoys that. There are no signs he could leave BVB soon.

According to the German outlet Bild, Dortmund has set their asking price at 101 million pounds as their attempts to hold off interests from other clubs on their talented teenager.

Bellingham’s high-intensity playing style suits perfectly for Liverpool, since the Reds are looking for more attacking midfielders to open up the front three.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are looking to rebuild the club for a long-term future. Thus, this January and next summer will be a crucial period for the club in their efforts to rebuild and freshen up things.
