Jurgen Klopp and Diaz have built a strong relationship after all this time and the Colombian has performed exceptionally well under the boss.

Luis Diaz is a wonderful player with alluring skills and some fine speed which has kept players like Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino on the bench.

After getting a contract from Liverpool in January for an initial fee of 37 million euros, the 25-year-old has scored 3 goals in 8 matches in the Premier League which helped the club be in the title race. Thus, the Merseyside giants are now only 1-point behind Manchester City.

Moreover, Diaz has also scored 1 goal in UEFA Champions League against Benfica in the quarter-final stage.

Diaz about the most difficult thing about being a player under Jurgen Klopp

Luis Diaz shared that being in one of the best clubs in the world Liverpool and also playing under the most successful manager requires a lot of the things physically but the Colombian has surpassed in that aspect.

However, the winger added that tactical demands at Liverpool have been the most challenging thing for him at the Merseyside club so far.

I reckon the thing you can notice and see the most is the intensity of the game here. Tactically how we set up and the fact that I also have to defend might well be the most difficult thing so far.

the forward told the club’s official website.

Liverpool for the title

Liverpool won the title in the Premier League era for the first time in 2019. And now, the Reds are up again in the title race with just 1 point separating the league leaders and Jurgen Klopp’s side.

However, Man City are looking forward to defending their title and giving no chance to the Reds as the title race can go till the last match.

Liverpool fans will definitely have their eye stuck on that last Man City fixture as the Sky Blues will face former Liverpool captains (Steven Gerrard) team Aston Villa. Gerrard might have slipped once but he will get an indirect opportunity to make Liverpool the champions of England again by making the Citizens slip.
