Alexis Mac Allister has finally spoken about recent transfer rumours linking him with Real Madrid.
The Liverpool midfielder has been a standout performer this season and was bound to attract attention. But the Argentine seems fully focused on life at Anfield and isn’t letting outside noise distract him.
Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid are eyeing Mac Allister as they prepare for life after Toni Kroos and possibly Luka Modric.
Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz even claimed the Reds’ playmaker is now a top priority for the La Liga giants, ahead of former target Martin Zubimendi.
Madrid, it seems, are looking to freshen up their midfield with someone who brings both control and creativity — two qualities Mac Allister has in abundance.
Yet for all the headlines and whispers, it looks like Mac Allister has both feet planted firmly on Merseyside soil.

Alexis Mac Allister clears the air
In a recent interview with TyC Sports, the World Cup winner didn’t dodge the rumours. He acknowledged them but made his current priorities clear.
“I read the rumours and the news reaches me, but the important thing is the present,” he said. “No matter how much the club loves me, if I play poorly this weekend, they’ll lose interest.”
He added, “I’m fine at Liverpool and I don’t have any need. So, I have a lot of respect for the club, and I don’t think it’s necessary to talk about other clubs.”
The midfielder even shared a slice of daily life in Cheshire, where he lives on the same street as teammates Andy Robertson and Joe Gomez.
“Some fans greet you with respect, but in the city, they are more passionate. The club is like a family. One phrase sums it all up: You’ll never walk alone.”
With six goals and five assists in 46 appearances this season, Mac Allister has certainly proven his worth not by goal contributions but also his defensive midfield play.
And for now, Liverpool fans can breathe easy. Their No.10 isn’t eyeing Madrid — or any other club — for a move.
