Liverpool number nine Darwin Nunez is struggling a lot this season across all competitions.
Arne Slot is using him more as a substitute player than a starter for the Reds. However, the Uruguayan international found it difficult to score goals for Liverpool this season.
Nunez only scored once in the last 15 matches for Liverpool across all competitions. The 25-year-old scored seven goals and registered five assists this season in 42 appearances across all competitions.
Nunez also admitted his bad form in the Press and was criticised by the Liverpool fans for his poor run.

Darwin Nunez benched until summer
The Uruguayan international is expected to leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. Arne Slot also recently stated that he needs a proper number nine who can score lots of goals.
So, if the club puts Darwin Nunez on the selling list, it will not be shocking news for all the Liverpool fans.
But there is another thing that is triggering the question of whether Darwin Nunez will ever get the chance to represent Liverpool again before the summer transfer window.
According to the news published by Anything Liverpool, Darwin Nunez is just one start away from triggering a €5m payment to Benfica.
Liverpool agreed to pay the fee once he reached 50 starts across the Premier League and Champions League for the Reds. As per stats, Nunez is currently on 49, just one start away from making that 50-match mark.
Liverpool really want to sell him in the summer transfer window. So, Arne Slot could end the season without giving the chance to Darwin Nunez to start for Liverpool again.
