“Absolute nonsense” – Football pundit cannot believe what he is hearing about Jurgen Klopp

Ally McCoist believes those calling Klopp to be sacked are talking “absolute nonsense”.

Ally McCoist discussed Jurgen Klopp following Liverpool’s 5-2 loss in the Round of 16 Champions League.

The Reds were stunned by Real Madrid. They took a 2-0 lead. But Madrid completely destroyed them scoring the next 5 goals. Moreover, some are now speculating about the German’s future as Liverpool struggles.

Yesterday, McCoist has addressed speculation about Klopp’s future in a talkSPORT interview.

The 60-year-old considers those who are demanding Klopp’s dismissal to be talking “absolute nonsense.”

Ally McCoist has complete trust in Klopp

He said:

“Nonsense. Come on. Absolute nonsense. He’s given Liverpool some of the best times in the club’s history. Let’s calm things down here. If anybody deserves the opportunity to have a rebuild, it’s Jürgen Klopp.”

We concur with every sentence.

Although Klopp is a Liverpool legend, the issues at Anfield go far beyond him. Thankfully, more people are blaming the executives than the German.

Moreover, the 55-year-old led Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 2020 with a record-breaking season after winning 176 of his 280 games in the league.

Klopp has managed the Reds for 414 games, winning 256. He also won the Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and Community Shield.

If anyone deserves time to turn around the problems, it’s the Stuttgart-born manager who has delivered Liverpool some of their best seasons in the club’s history, according to McCoist.

There aren’t many possibilities for a team of Liverpool’s prominence if Fenway Sports Group decides to do the unimaginable and fire Klopp.

Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino are also available. Tuchel was previously managing Chelsea while Pochettino was managing PSG.

Additionally unemployed at the moment are Luis Enrique and Zinedine Zidane.

Another name now without a job is Steven Gerrard. Nevertheless, after failing at Aston Villa, it would be unexpected to see him take over at Liverpool until he first rebuilds his reputation elsewhere.

However, we do believe that the manager links will come and go but Jurgen Klopp will definitely stay!
