Robin van Persie Predicts Massive Success For New Liverpool Boss Arne Slot – Fans Will Be Thrilled!
Robin van Persie, the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker, has confidently predicted success for Arne Slot. Slot is the newly appointed manager of Liverpool after Klopp’s exit.
Slot led Feyenoord to both the Eredivisie title and the KNVB Cup. Arne Slot, relatively unknown in England, now faced the challenge of living up to Klopp’s legacy.
“It is certainly not an easy decision to close the door behind you at a club where you have experienced so many wonderful moments and worked successfully with so many wonderful people.
But as a sportsman, an opportunity to become a head coach in the Premier League at one of the biggest clubs in the world is difficult to ignore.
I am grateful to Feyenoord for their willingness to cooperate in this transition.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my three years at Feyenoord and have felt very much at home from day one, both within the club and with the supporters.
Feyenoord is the club where I was able to celebrate the first major successes in my career as a trainer and where I experienced many great matches, so I cherish those memories.
And as a football fan, I will certainly continue to follow the club, not least because I am convinced that there are still many great things to come in Rotterdam.

The Dutchman said in a farewell message to Feyenoord.
Van Persie Has Confidence In Slot
Van Persie worked with the Dutch manager at Feyenoord and is now SC Heerenveen’s manager. He highlighted Slot’s alignment with Klopp’s style. He also predicted a smooth transition and success for Liverpool.
Speaking to ESPN NL (via Voetbal Nieuws), he said,
“I think [he’ll do] very well, very well. How he wants to play is in line with Klopp’s style of play and what they are used to there.
I expect them to do very well. Liverpool is one of the nicer clubs in England. I have been able to play for two other very nice clubs.
Slot has already been able to practice well at Feyenoord in that rhythm, but there [England] it goes very hard and fast for 11 to 11.5 months a year.
It is a very nice, new opportunity for him. I believe it will go very well.”
Despite the pressure of filling Klopp’s shoes, Van Persie believes the experience of Slot and his strategic mindset will enable him to thrive at Anfield.
