While Liverpool secured their title by beating Tottenham Hotspur last week, two summer targets of the Reds halted Bayern’s title dream.
The Merseyside are planning to sign some new forwards in the summer. Names like Darwin Nunez probably leave the club after failing to impress Arne Slot this season.
Liverpool are targeting two RB Leipzig forwards, Benjamin Sesko and Xavi Simons.
Both Sesko and Simons were on the goal contributions in a 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich this Saturday. While Sesko scored the first goal for RB Leipzig, Simons set up the opening and the final one for Sesko and Paulsen, respectively.

Two Leipzig forwards could join Liverpool in the summer
Arne Slot could make a lot of money in the summer after two quiet transfer windows. Liverpool only signed a single player in their last two transfer windows under the Dutch manager.
RB Leipzig striker Sesko is one of the highest-rated young strikers in Europe. And he could join Liverpool to replace Nunez. This season Sesko scored 21 goals and registered 6 assists in his 42 appearances across all competitions for the German side.
However, Slovenia has a release clause in his contract, which is currently worth around €70 million.
Benjamin Sesko’s teammate Xavi Simons is another player that Liverpool want to get in the summer.
Despite missing two months this season due to injury, the Dutch international has 16 goal contributions in his 30 matches this season. According to multiple reports, RB Leipzig could demand € 80 million for Xavi Simons.
This means the two RB Leipzig forwards could cost around €150m for Liverpool alone. Whether the Reds will be able to sign them or not, that is the big question. However, their addition to the team before the start of the next season will definitely give a huge boost to the Reds.
