According to the Reds, Liverpool’s victory against Tottenham Hotspur had more than 71 million social media engagements across Sunday and Monday, confirmed by Blinkfire Analytics.
This made the most-engaged title win ever in the history of the Premier League. There were more than 429 million video views across LFC social channels.
The matchday against Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs alone was LFC’s most-engaged day on social media ever with 58 million engagements. The club reached more than 1.1 billion social impressions across club channels in the matchday cycle.
Fans across the globe celebrate their success, and the data clearly shows that. Merseyside is also a favourite when it comes to engagement in the Premier League this season overall.
Liverpool is already the most engaged club in the Premier League this season, hitting 1 billion engagements in March. The club is one of the most discussed sides from Europe’s top five leagues.
