Busy week for the Reds in terms of outgoings as Nat Philips becomes the latest player to leave on loan.

According to reports Liverpool defender Nat Philips has completed a loan move to Derby County for the rest of the season.

It has been a quiet transfer window for the Reds. Liverpool have only signed two players, but the Reds have been busy with outgoings.

Nat Philips joins Derby County on loan

According to Paul Joyce : “Liverpool defender Nat Phillips is set to move to Derby County on loan”. Philips was not the only one to depart on deadline day. Ben Doak and Kaide Gordon also left on loan deals.

Nat Philips spent the last season out on loan at Celtic and Cardiff City. Philips struggled to get game time under Jurgen Klopp, and now it looks like the situation has not changed under Arne Slot also. His best season for the Reds came in the 20/21 season when Liverpool had lost key defenders.

Nat Phillips’ loan move means he won’t be returning to the San Siro, where he once pulled off an incredible piece of skill in the Champions League.

With Sepp Van Den Berg already joining Brentford and Philips also now leaving on loan, Joe Gomez is now staying, as there were reports of his exit a few days back.

Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Jarell Quansah, and Joe Gomez are Liverpool’s centre-back options for this season.

Nat Philips has spent most of his Liverpool career on loan, with Derby County the latest club to secure the 27-year-old on loan. Hopefully, Philips can revive his career with this loan deal.
