After singing “Champagne Problems” the 34-year-old pop star took a moment to take in the atmosphere that the fans had created.
In order to fully enjoy the ovation she took off her earpiece and mouthed the words thats loud.
She then thanked the audience and said how honored she felt to be performing for such a passionate group of people.
Emotional Moments
Refusing to cry Taylor spoke about her love for Liverpool and thanked the supporters for their amazing support.
She talked about how Liverpool had left a profound impression on her during her performances and stressed the unique bond she felt with the city.
She said,
“It’s genuinely such an honour to play to crowds like this.
I love you so much Liverpool, thank you.
Liverpool just look at you. I’ve got to be honest, you’re making me feel absolutely fantastic right now.”
In her record-breaking Eras Tour which included the 100th show of the tour on Thursday, the final show represented a momentous occasion.
The Merseyside Tour
Insisting that playing in Liverpool was a privilege Taylor’s sentimental remarks emphasized the significance of the Merseyside leg of her tour.
She conveyed her gratitude for the incredible experience and the incredible energy of the audience both of which had a profound effect on her.
The tour will go on until December but she will always treasure the memories she made while she was in Liverpool.
