Rui Pinto revealed a lot of information regarding Man City and PSG, two powerhouse clubs. He was instrumental in releasing important emails, salaries of star players and other crucial documents.
These controversial takes made the UEFA look into the matter with utmost priority. They investigated Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain over these leaks.
Eventually, Man City had to face an unfortunate ban in the European Competitions for two years over an alleged FFP violation.
With a lot of legal aid, the club managed to overturn this order. Pinto originally got access to emails in 2018.
In 2019, Rui Pinto was arrested and later, got charged with illegal access. Since then, Pinto has been on witness protection after this infamous case against Man City.
Recently, Rui Pinto has made claims about releasing Man City papers. According to the Portuguese, there’s a file full of extraordinary details regarding Manchester City. it has the potential to send waves all across the Premier League.
“We have been approached by investigators to share information regarding Manchester City that has not been released before.
We haven’t released the information yet but we have a massive file of Manchester City-related documents that has yet to be released.”
