According to reports, Spanish giant Real Madrid are confident of completing the signing of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is in the final few months of his contract at Anfield, and new updates have been reported regarding the player’s proposed new club should he fail to extend his contract with the Reds.
The right-back rose through the ranks at Liverpool, coming from their academy having joined the academy as a young kid. The defender has also become a highly influential figure on Merseyside, as he was named the club’s vice-captain under Jurgen Klopp.
Alexander-Arnold has won all the major trophies on offer during his time at Liverpool, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
The England international has enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the first-team since he made his breakthrough in 2016.

Real Madrid poach Trent — Liverpool panic mode
Real Madrid have made clear and evident their intentions to sign the full-back in the summer window.
The current UCL holders made an approach for Alexander-Arnold in January, but were warded off by Liverpool as the player was entering the final months of his deal.
According to an X post by AnythingLFC, which says, “Real Madrid remain confident of convincing Alexander-Arnold to join them on a free transfer this summer despite Liverpool’s best attempts to keep the vice-captain and local lad.”
Regardless of the unrest caused by the possibility of the 26-year-old switching sides to move to the Spanish capital. Liverpool have not given up hope that he will extend his stay at Anfield.
Talks are still ongoing with Alexander-Arnold and his representatives over an extension of his deal at LFC, and the Reds are banking on the possibility of him choosing to sign a new contract and remain with his boyhood club.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been and continues to be a valuable asset during his time with the Premier League champions-elect, and supporters of the club will be praying for a miracle regarding him prolonging his stay in England.
