Steven Gerrard ready for a homecoming

During his time with Liverpool, Steven Gerrard made 476 appearances and scored 145 goals, before moving to LA Galaxy in January 2015. With LA Galaxy, he spent just more than one year and hung up his boots from professional football.

After that, Gerrard continued his career in the world of football as a manager. As a manager, he was in charge of the Liverpool U-18, Liverpool U19, Rangers FC, Aston Villa, and Al-Ettifaq. However, the 44-year-old is out of work after leaving Al-Ettifaq at the end of January.

Now, Steven Gerrard is going to return to the world of football again in the LFC Foundation’s annual Legends charity match. This game was organized to raise funds to support the LFC Foundation’s health programs.

This is done to help tackle health inequalities across the Liverpool City Region by providing physical and mental well-being programs for people of all ages.

All the Liverpool fans are eager to watch their legendary midfielder back to Anfield. They are waiting to see Gerrard with the Red shirt on to take on against Chelsea Legends.
