The Spurs’ new striker Dominic Solanke has a career of playing alongside one of the best strikers the game has ever seen, He named Kane as the best striker he’s ever seen.
Currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur Dominic Solanke has had an incredible career with Chelsea and Liverpool where he shared the field with some of the game’s biggest names like Didier Drogba, Eden Hazard and Mohamed Salah.
Solanke picks Kane over Mo Salah
Harry Kane is the best finisher Solanke has ever seen even though he is surrounded by such elite talent.
The 27-year-old, acknowledged and lauded Kane’s finishing prowess, labeling it among the best-ever in an interview with Sky Sports.
He said,
“Obviously Harry Kane. His finishing is just one of the best-ever. We see that all the time and his finishing is just incredible.”
He also expressed his admiration for Kane’s remarkable consistency in front of goal.
Once a highly-touted wonderkid under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, Solanke struggled to find his form at Liverpool but before his recent move to Spurs he emerged as a vital member of Bournemouth.
Now Solanke wants to emulate Kane by assisting Tottenham in taking home the much-needed Premier League title.
The goal of the striker is to help Ange Postecoglou’s project and try to emulate the success that Kane had at Spurs, where he scored 280 goals in 435 games.
Though his meteoric ascent to prominence may not have matched that of his former teammates, Solanke is keen to establish himself at Spurs has already been impressed by Son Heung-min’s level of training and has high expectations for the team in the upcoming campaigns.
