Liverpool’s CEO of football has started compiling a shortlist of potential replacements for their legendary winger Mo Salah, with West Ham United’s star winger Jarrod Bowen and Aston Villa’s striker Ollie Watkins coming up as lead candidates within Premier League.

Bowen has had an extra-ordinary 2023-24 season, bagging 16 goals. Jurgen Klopp said,

“[Bowen is] probably my favourite player besides all my players I have to say.

It’s great what he is doing and how he has developed.”

People around Anfield think Jarrod Bowen might be a better fit to the squad than any other potential candidates on the list.

Former Liverpool player John Aldridge has urged the Merseyside to priortize capturing the transfer of the England international winger, Jarrod Bowen. He said,

“Do we need a new striker? I presume, and it’s only me presuming, that the club will have to let Mohamed Salah go because of financial reasons,

I don’t think we could get Watkins because Villa are pretty much in the Champions League now. They’re going to keep their players, but they’re two players who would fit the bill for me.”
