New: Liverpool boss reveals future plans for Mohamed Salah

Mo Salah impact will be maximized this season according to Liverpool head coach Arne Slot his strategy highlights the close relationship between individual advancements and the teams overall structure.

Like his teammates Slot thinks Salah will improve his performance on its own accord by strengthening the teams understanding and unity.

“It’s my firm belief that you don’t improve individuals; you improve the team, and because of that, individuals improve,”

Slot explained.

Salah, who opted out of participating in the Olympic Games to fully commit to Liverpool’s pre-season, has already made a strong start to the campaign, scoring in the opening-day victory against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

Slot plans for Mo Salah

After taking over at Liverpool in June Slot was told by former manager Jurgen Klopp about the team’s “really good culture” and he has since observed players like Salah and Virgil van Dijk to have this positive outlook.

Slot went on to explain his strategy saying that daily progress and a clear team structure are essential to getting the most out of Salah and the rest of the team.

He emphasized the value of players forging stronger bonds with one another on the field citing Salah’s collaboration with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominik Szoboszlai as an example.

“If Mo and Trent Alexander-Arnold or Mo and Conor Bradley play better together, or Mo has a better understanding and timing with Dom Szoboszlai, then the end result is you will say Mo has become better,”

Slot said.

The head coach also praised the team’s work ethic, noting that the players, from seasoned veterans to young talents, come to training every day eager to improve and enjoy playing football.
