Mohamed Salah is prepared to make a big sacrifice to extend his stay at Liverpool and secure a new contract.
There is a new development regarding contracts talks between the Egyptian maestro and the Merseyside outfit, and this news hints at Salah getting close to securing a contract extension with Liverpool.
The Reds’ no.11 is believed to have his sights set on remaining at Anfield despite reportedly getting mouth-watering offers from Saudi Arabia recently.
It has been revealed that the forward is willing to conform in a bid to continue in the Premier League with the league leaders.

What sacrifice Salah could be paying to extend contract
Mohamed Salah is ready to accept a pay cut to confirm a longer contract extension with Liverpool. According to reports, the 32-year-old has agreed to financial concessions that the club hierarchy did not feel he would make.
AnythingLFC reports that the long-serving forward is now prepared for a slight pay cut to enable him to get a longer deal.
And he does not see himself departing Merseyside for the foreseeable future, with reports revealing that he has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia that could have seen an astronomical increase in his salary.
Liverpool rushing to save star
Claims that the FSG had not initially wanted to extend the forward’s stay at Anfield, but with Van Dijk’s future uncertain and Trent Alexander-Arnold edging closer to a move to Real Madrid on a free, they believed a major message had to be sent to the fans.
Liverpool have until June 30 to agree on an extension or else Salah becomes a free agent, so time is not in their favour to get it sorted out.
He is now expected to pay the sacrifice of a reduction on his weekly wages of £350,000.
Should the contract renewal happen, alongside that of Van Dijk, who revealed after the defeat to Fulham that there is progress in his contract talks, there could be multiple causes of celebration for Reds’ supporters in the coming weeks.
