Malik Scott has acted out plan for Jamie Carragher following the pundit’s failed sarcasm comments at his wife Kate Abdo.
The former Liverpool defender sparked controversy during CBS Sports’ coverage of Arsenal’s Champions League match against Porto in March 2024. His attempted joke was poorly received.
The remark quickly led to a series of awkward apologies, as Carragher’s comment missed the mark with viewers and his colleagues alike. Kate’s husband, Malik Scott, has since carried out a plan for the pundit.

Malik Scott plan for Jamie Carragher
Malik Scott appeared on the CBS panel,, in Real Madrid’s second leg UCL knockout game against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he had a hoodie on with the names of the cast of the show, but with ‘Jamie’ crossed off.
According to Goal, Malik said,
“They came to me asking would I hop on the last segment. I didn’t have the hoodie like that but by the time I got up there I had Jamie’s name crossed out and they basically asked me what I had on so I opened the shirt and I said, ‘I’ve got to get me another one because I basically crossed Jamie’s name out on that’.
The Boxing trainer, who has worked with Deontay Wilder in the past, claimed it was a little way of getting back at Carragher for the comment he made towards his wife, Kate.
However, Malik added that there is no grudge between him and the outspoken Carragher, adding that they both have a lot of respect for each other. He also said that they made him choose his favorite on the panel for the show, when he joined them.
“Of course, I’m going to say my wife. The one that I married is my favourite, Kate Scott. Then I said Micah.
Then Jamie said, ‘who’s next?’ I looked at Jamie with a face and I said, ‘Don’t you do it, Jamie’.
Scott made it clear that he had no intention of sorting things with Carragher, as they are already sorted out, and there is no lingering feeling of a grudge between him or Kate and the former England international footballer.
