Luis Diaz says he’s living a dream at Liverpool, with the Premier League title almost within touching distance and fans chanting his name.
The Colombian winger has become a fan favourite since joining the Reds, and he now finds himself on the brink of his first league title in England.
Speaking to TNT Sports Mexico, Diaz opened up about his pride in representing the club and how much the supporters’ love means to him.

Diaz and Liverpool: A connection built on pride and passion
“It’s a source of pride to see the fans of Liverpool, one of England’s great clubs, sing for you like that, support you like that,” Diaz said.
The 27-year-old added:
“It is what I’ve always worked for. That’s what I want for my career: to always be remembered for my game; to leave my mark on Liverpool.
We’ll keep working this way so they feel comfortable and keep singing and cheering on the team, which is the most important thing.”
His words reflect a player fully invested in the club’s journey, and the fans have responded in kind, giving him the kind of adoration reserved for those who wear the badge with pride.
Diaz continued:
“I have many memories from when I was a kid. Because I always dreamed of winning a title with Liverpool and especially the Premier League, and it’s close.”

One win away from glory for the Reds
Vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold also paid tribute to the fans after scoring the winning goal at Leicester. Despite speculation linking him with Real Madrid, the Scouser didn’t want to focus on the future, just the joy of the moment.
“I think it is one win away now, very close. And to do it for the fans here is a very special moment.” Trent told Sky Sports.
“As much as we do it for ourselves and our family, we do it for the fans as well, they are the ones who travel to the games and spend their money, so it is the least they deserve to see us give 100 per cent on the pitch and win games.”
He added: “Virgil pushed me to the front [at full time] to soak it in, get up close and personal. The fans have been amazing again this season, they have pushed us every game to the final minutes, and they have done that again today to help us win the game.”
Liverpool now need just one more win to officially seal the Premier League title, and players like Diaz are embracing the pressure with positivity and hunger.
The forward has grown into a key figure in the squad, and his desire to “leave a mark” suggests that this is only the beginning of his story with the club.
For Diaz and Liverpool, the dream is close. Now, it’s just about finishing the job.
