With several names up on their radar, LFC appears to be moving fast as the Premier League is approaching. This time, reports suggest that Liverpool is signing Takefusa Kubo, and it is happening sooner. The Japanese star will be a good addition to the Red squad.
Liverpool yet to finalise the signing of Takefusa Kubo
Remember how Jurgen Klopp made the Merseyside Club win six major trophies? After he left LFC in the hands of Slot, it appears that the Dutchman needs to go a long way. Amidst major names that are waiting to be struck off from Anfield, a new name has emerged. Takefusa Kubo is probably coming to Liverpool.
Wataru Endo has previously created sparks in major news outlets by speaking out on the topic. However, the Reds want to keep everything under wraps until it happens permanently. And this time, Liverpool is ready to bring Takefusa Kubo.
According to Sponichi, the popular Japanese news source, Liverpool has finalized the move of Takefusa Kubo. Previously, we thought it was just moments away as Arne Slot and Micheal Edwards agreed with his release clause.
However, recent reports from LFC itself and Sociedad suggest that the teams are not in the final talking stage at all. This has dismissed all the claims of Kubo’s transfer. Real Sociedad has the Japanese player linked up to a £55 million release clause.
If Kubo joins Liverpool, it might create a duo with Wataru Endo. Not that he is an alternative, but right now, Kubo is the best choice for LFC to fill up Mo Salah’s spot.
