Liverpool are once again in conversation to sign the Wolves attacking forward Adama Traore, who is also one of the fastest players in the FIFA 22 player ratings.

According to Football Insider, the former England and Sunderland forward Kevin Phillips (now a football pundit) is adamant that the Spanish international will eventually land at Anfield.

Further, Phillips claims that Traore’s deal will happen soon and he will end up joining the Reds.

I think that deal will happen. Traore would jump at the chance to join Liverpool. You do not turn that opportunity down, even if you are going to sit on the bench a little bit. Traore has been at Wolves a while now.

Moreover, sources have revealed that Wolves have decreased the asking price for their star forward. The Wanderers were first asking for £30m to sign the Spaniard. But now, they have reduced it down to £18-20million.

Meanwhile, Bruno Lage’s side are looking for converting the loan into a permanent signing for Hwang Hee-chan. Thus, they want to cash in on Adama as soon as possible.

Will Liverpool be able to secure the signing of the 2nd fastest player in FIFA 22?

Looking at the fastest player in FIFA 22, Adama is right up there with Bayern star Alphonso Devis. Having a glance at the pace, Traore and Devis are given a rating of 96/100, which is just behind the PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has been an admirer of the 25-year-old. Thus, in an interview, Klopp has termed Adama as “undefendable”. Moreover, the Liverpool wing-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is also termed as one of the best right-backs in the current footballing world by many pundits, said:

It’s almost not human the way he [Traore] can change direction and go. I’ve never felt so powerless against someone.

In an interview with Goal last season

With Liverpool wingers (Salah & Mane) going on national duties for their respective countries in the month of January Klopp will need someone to fill in their void places. Thus, Traore could turn out to be a brilliant option for Klopp in order to keep the Reds alive in the total race.
