Liverpool will be on the lookout to continue their winning streak against Manchester United on Sunday. The Reds will travel to Old Trafford and confront The Red Devils to grab three points. Let’s have a look at the team news, injuries and suspensions for Liverpool ahead of the Manchester clash.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking to maintain his win tally after their recent win against Simeone’s side in the Champions League. The Reds won 3-2 thanks to a brace from Mohamed Salah and a brilliant volley from Naby Keita.

In form Reds also crushed Watford 5-0 in their most recent Premier League clash. Liverpool are currently second in the standings after eight games, one point behind Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

Whereas the Red Devils are currently sixth in the league after suffering a heavy defeat against Brendon Rogers Leceister City.

Liverpool team news vs Manchester United

Liverpool have a huge boost as Fabinho and Allison would be available after they missed their trip to Watford.

Klopp is concerned about Thiago, Curtis Jones, and Harvey Elliott who are yet to make their comeback from injury.

Thiago is still recovering from a calf injury suffered against Crystal Palace last month. The doctors have no clue when the Spaniard will be back, therefore a return this weekend appears improbable.

While Curtis Jones picked up a groin injury during the international break and couldn’t feature against Atletico, but Klopp seeks to get him recovered in time for the weekend.

Harvey Elliott is still on the mend after a major ankle injury. The 18-year-old intends to return to the field before the season ends.

The Boss will likely play the same squad that featured in this week’s Champions League. The attack is full-fleshed, but there are still some doubts in midfield. It’s still unclear who’ll make it into the starting eleven.

However, looking at the poor defensive display against Atletico, Klopp can make changes in the defence line. Thus, it wont be surprising if Konate or Gomaze mark their way the starting 11.
