Liverpool target Jamie Gittens is keen on leaving his current club as he claims something great about the Premier League.

The Reds are among the suitors for the left sided winger, who wants to leave the German Bundesliga according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Liverpool with Fabrizio Romano claiming many clubs had been watching him.

The youngster joined BVB in 2020 from Manchester City and has made about 100 appearances in that time, bagging 17 goals and 14 assists in that period, but he is seriously touted for a move away in the summer.

According to reports, the German club is readying for Gittens’ exit, as the forward is set to be plotting his next move and would prefer to depart.

As per thisisanfield, the youngster has informed the hierarchy at Dortmund of his desire and the club are open to selling him for the right offer, despite being contracted at the club until 2028.

The Liverpool target was valued at £82.7 million in January but they are set to reduce the price tag for the forward as their situation is worsened by the ever present possibility of missing out on Europe next term.

It has been noted in recent times, that a fee in the region of £50 – £ 60 million is to be the amount for interested clubs.

It has been mooted that a return to the Premier League appeals to the him, with other clubs interested in him including Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The winger is only 20, and while he is still developing and can become a great addition to the flanks of any club, he has recently been out of favour in Germany.

The internet has come on as a late substitute in five of the previous six Bundesliga matches.
