Liverpool receive major injury boost as star returns to training but who misses out

Liverpool receive a major injury boost as a star returns to training, but find out those players are missing out.

The Reds have been handed great news from the treatment room as Alisson Becker returned to training ahead of Liverpool’s fixture with against West Ham United on Sunday.

Arne Slot’s men failed in their quest towards the Premier League title last time with a 3-2 loss at Craven Cottage against Fulham, but they could get within eight points of their goal with a victory on Sunday.

Alisson has been forced to sit out the last two matches in the league after failing concussion protocols, but the club is hoping he makes a return to the side after the incident while on national duty.

The pair will be hoping they can return in April and before the end of the season, as they look to play their part in the run-in.

As per thisisanfield, Slot will speak in his press conference on Friday, and we will be expecting full confirmation of Alisson’s involvement at Anfield.

The Reds have their focus set on taking strides to complete the job of claiming the Premier League title for the second time in five years.

Other senior members of the squad spotted in training include: Salah, Nunez, Diaz, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Kelleher, Jones, Gakpo, Van Dijk, Robertson, and Tsimikas.
