Liverpool set to seal three new signings in the summer, First one almost done

Liverpool to play in mid-season friendly

Liverpool looks forward to bringing three new signings in the upcoming summer transfer window. After several disappointing results, the Reds find themselves six points adrift of the Champions League spot.

The midfield and defense have been the areas of major concern this season. However, the board and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to improve those in the upcoming transfer window.

One of three Liverpool signings on the verge of being completed

The Merseyside giants have been in contact with the Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham for some time now. According to sources close to the club, the deal seems to be termed as “in the bag” for the 19-year-old wonderkid.

According to the Spanish source Fichajes, Liverpool are close to landing a surprise signing of 20-year-old Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

Due to his injury at the beginning of the season, Gravenberch has been struggling for game time in Germany. This could see him make an unexpected switch to the Merseyside in the summer for a reported fee of around €23m.

Liverpool are said to be in advanced negotiations with Gravenberch. This could prove to be one of the transfer shocks of the season if completed.

Liverpool enter the race for Gvardiol

After the addition of Cody Gakpo in January, and with Luis Diaz set to return from injury after the international break, the club has decided not to pursue any attacking deals. Although, the Reds will be looking to make some acquisitions at the defensive end.

Also, Spanish source Nacional claims that Klopp is desperate to hijack the deal for Croatian talent Josko Gvardiol, as the club will be looking for a new defensive partner for Virgil van Dijk.

The 21-year-old center-back is already on the radar of many top teams. The player has also made it clear to RB Leipzig’s board about his dream to play in the Premier League.
