Liverpool are set to return to the UCL (UEFA Champions League) with a trip to San Siro to play their historic rivals AC Milan. Liverpool are set to play an Italian team for the 8th season in a row.
A number of players are set to make milestone appearances for the club, also fans might see a glimpse of new signing Federico Chiesa.
Liverpool set for UCL return at the San Siro
Liverpool take on Italian giants AC Milan to mark their Champions League return after a year in Europa League. However, this is the 8th consecutive season where Liverpool will take on an Italian opposition in Europe.
Liverpool have won eight, drawn two, and lost nine away to Italian teams. The Reds have won 4 of their last 5 away games in Italy. The famous 5-0 victory at Atalanta is the biggest by an English side away to Italian opposition.
The last time Liverpool visited the San Siro was against Inter Milan in the 2022 UCL knockout stages. The Reds won the game by 2 goals to nil.

Darwin Nunez could make his 100th appearance for the Reds and Dominik Szoboszlai set to play in his 50th game for Liverpool.
Diogo Jota is line to make his 150th appearance for the club, and Virgil Van Dijk will play his 50th game for Liverpool in Europe (UCL and Europa League)
