Liverpool midfielder Arthur Melo shares his feelings through social media. 2022 was a hard year for the Brazilian. So far, he has played for just 13 minutes for the Merseyside giants.

Why LFC needs him?

Liverpool are in desperate need to rebuild their midfield area. The ex-Juventus midfielder was brought to the team to bring experience and an attacking threat to the Reds squad. But his poor injury record stopped the Brazilian to showcase his full potential.

Melo was considered one of the future greats in midfield. His ball control movement and attacking input were the key to why Juventus included him in their team. But his injuries were the reason why he was sidelined for so many games. He featured 21 times for the Italian giants before making a loan move to Anfield.

The 26-year-old Brazilian thought that a loan move to Liverpool will help him to achieve the heights which he was not able to reach with the Italian side. But Arthur was forced to stay on the sideline for his injury problems.

Arthur shares his story

Liverpool number 29 took to social media to express his frustration. He expressed his “emotional turbulence” and “complicated football year” in his post. Although his post also shows how much motivated he is for his next step.

Melo is yet to return to full team training but has proven his commitment previously. His quality cannot be questioned. The ex-Barca player had started 19 games out of 27 matches played in the 2018-19 season. His contribution helped the Catalan club to lift its La Liga title.

During his Italian campaign, he helped the Italian giants Juventus to reach the top 4 position. His quality has attracted Klopp to sign him for the English giants.

Liverpool’s current situation?

Liverpool are now in a desperate situation to secure their top 4 spot. The English side is looking for a fresh requirement in their midfield area. Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez are their prime target.

Will Arthur be able to show his true class and guide LFC to the top4 spot?
