In preparation for Saturday match, Liverpool vs Bournemouth at Anfield, 23 players, including a few young players, participated in training on Thursday.

With only two points from their first three games, the Reds are in desperate need of a victory to start their season.

Numerous senior players are still out due to their lengthy injury list, which hasn’t helped the situation.

Many supporters want the team that lost to Man United at Old Trafford on Monday to be changed. And players like Fabinho and Fabio Carvalho might start against the Cherries.

The most recent Liverpool practice at the AXA Training Center provides us with a good idea of who will play. And on Friday, Jurgen Klopp will hold his pre-game press conference.

The fact that no injured players took part in the practice on Thursday suggests that the lineup for Bournemouth will be identical to the one that took against United on Monday.

The likelihood of a comeback this weekend for Caoimhin Kelleher, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Calvin Ramsay, Thiago, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Kaide Gordon, and Diogo Jota remains low.

Despite rumours tying him to a transfer away from the club, Keita was a late withdrawal from the squad that travelled to Old Trafford on Monday. Klopp said his absence was due to an ailment he sustained the day before the match.

Players taking part in the Liverpool training

Under-21 right-back Isaac Mabaya was one of the teenagers to train with the first squad on Thursday. And summer signing Ramsay is still out due to injury.

Harvey Davies, Fabian Mrozek, Stefan Bajcetic, and Bobby Clark sat on the bench against Palace and United. And they were also shown in the photo.

Darwin Nunez won’t be able to play against Bournemouth or against Newcastle next Wednesday owing to suspension. But he is still working out with the team.

With just one week until the transfer window closes, Liverpool’s defensive injury issues at center-back mean Nat Phillips and Sepp van den Berg also still play for the team.

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Adrian, Davies, Mrozek

Defenders: Van Dijk, Gomez, Phillips, Van den Berg, Mabaya, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson, Tsimikas

Midfielders: Fabinho, Bajcetic, Henderson, Milner, Elliott, Clark

Forwards: Salah, Diaz, Nunez (suspended), Carvalho, Firmino

Out: Kelleher,
