Liverpool are said to have an increasing injury list before they continue their charge for the Premier League title at Anfield against 18th-placed Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Reds won their last league game 2-0 over Brentford with a stoppage-time brace from Darwin Nunez at the G-TECH Community Stadium.
That win took them six points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand, after the Gunners dropped two points later that day with a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.
Liverpool’s mid-week involvement in the Champions League came at a cost as another player picked up a knock in the 2-1 home win over Lille.

Liverpool injury list grows with Curtis Jones
Liverpool suffered another setback in their Champions League match against Lille as midfielder Curtis Jones was forced to exit the game at half-time.
Jones who provided the assist for Mo Salah to score the Reds’ opening goal on the night, subsequently picked up a knock shortly before the half ended.
Although, he was able to finish the remainder of the first half after receiving treatment, he failed to emerge from the tunnel for the second half of the encounter.
According to the reports, the Reds are still evaluating the midfielder’s injury, and it remains unclear how long the 23-year-old will be sidelined.
Jones is now expected to miss the Ipswich match on Saturday, and will join Joe Gomez and Diogo Jota as absentees for the Premier League fixture.
Gomez has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury in the first half of the 5-0 Premier League win over West Ham on December 29.
Jota, on the other hand, has been absent from the Reds’ last two games having suffered a muscle injury following his goalscoring cameo off the bench in the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest last week.
Liverpool fans and coach Arne Slot will be hoping the injury issues end here, as any further setbacks to key players could start raising serious concerns for the Premier League leaders.
