Liverpool are not slowing down this summer. After already making three signings, the Reds are now on the verge of securing their fourth.
The next man heading to Anfield? Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez. And yes, apparently the medical is already booked.
The 21-year-old defender has been on Liverpool’s radar for months. Known for his energy and attacking runs, Kerkez is seen as a player who can push Andy Robertson for a starting spot — or at least give the Scot a well-earned breather.
With Arne Slot now steering the ship, it’s clear Liverpool are shifting gears and aiming for more squad depth in defense.
Sky Sports reports that the deal with Bournemouth is almost complete, with a medical set for Tuesday.
Once that’s done, the official announcement could follow as early as Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. It’s a fast move — typical Liverpool style.

Who played a key role in bringing Kerkez to Liverpool?
Interestingly, Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes played a key role in bringing Kerkez to Bournemouth last year from AZ Alkmaar. Now he looks set to reunite with the Hungarian international at Anfield.
Kerkez impressed last season, making 38 Premier League appearances and contributing two goals and five assists. Those numbers aren’t bad for a full-back, and they show why Liverpool were so keen. Personal terms? No problem there — Kerkez is said to be eager for the move.
Bournemouth have already made moves to fill the gap, signing Adrien Truffert from Rennes. That cleared the way for Kerkez to pack his bags for Merseyside.
Kerkez will join Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, and Armin Pecsi as Liverpool’s summer signings. And with rumours still linking the Reds to Marc Guehi, the transfer window might just be warming up.
