Liverpool are said to top the Premier League by the end of September after the official release of the 2024-25 season’s fixtures by the Premier League.
Arne Slot’s first season as the manager of the Reds starts on the 17th of August before which Slot needs to decide which area needs to be improved and the players required to improve the squad and push for more success.
Liverpool’s match of the season during August!
The Reds will play three matches in the month of August, starting with the away match against the newly promoted Ipswich Town on the 17th of August.
Liverpool will then play their first match in Anfield for the season against Brentford on the 24th of August. The last day of August will be an important fixture for Liverpool as they face the Red Devils on their home turf, Old Trafford.
Liverpool’s fixtures during September!
Liverpool will play their fourth match of the season in Anfield against Nottingham Forest on 14th September.
The Merseyside will then face Bournemouth at Anfield on the 21st of September. The Reds will finish their September matches in the Premier League with a match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on their home turf, the Molineux Stadium on the 28th of September.
Compared to the other fixtures of the Top 6 of the Premier League, Liverpool are favourites to top the Premier League at the end of September.
Liverpool’s only challenge in these six matches is Manchester United at Old Trafford, as Manchester United are a formidable opponent when played in their home. If Liverpool manages to defeat Manchester United, they are the favourites to top the Premier League by the end of September.
