BREAKING NEWS: Ladbrokes is now the official betting partner of Liverpool FC!
Liverpool FC have just inked a multi-year deal with Ladbrokes, the UK’s top betting operator, owner by Entain. As the official betting partner for the UK and Ireland, Ladbrokes is set to bring fans exclusive content and exciting activations.
Starting this season, expect to see Ladbrokes’ branding lighting up the pitch side LED screens at Anfield and St Helens Stadium, the new home of Liverpool FC Women.
But it’s not just about the fans. This partnership is also about giving back. Ladbrokes, through Entain’s grassroots sports program, Pitching In, will be fuelling grassroots football to boost physical and mental health, especially in communities facing social challenges. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
Liverpool have cracked deal with Ladbrokes
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said:
“Ladbrokes is one of the most established and well recognised high-street betting firms, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the LFC partner family.
“This new partnership also enables Ladbrokes to continue driving forward with its local community work, using football to increase physical and mental wellbeing, particularly in areas of high social deprivation.”
Charlotte Emery, chief marketing officer for Ladbrokes (Entain UK brands), said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering Ladbrokes with a football club with the history and stature of Liverpool FC. At Entain we’re committed to working only with partners that align with our values, and Ladbrokes and Liverpool have lots in common – great heritage, ambition and a commitment to serve our communities, not to mention passion for football – making this the perfect partnership.
“We are also looking forward to continuing to support and inspire grassroots football, an area we have been committed to in recent years through our Pitching In sponsorship of the Trident Leagues and Camden Town WFC.”
What can we expect?
This new partnership between LFC and Ladbrokes aligns perfectly with the Premier League’s freshly minted Code of Conduct for Gambling Related Agreements in Football. Introduced this season, the code aims to promote more responsible gambling sponsorships, ensuring that deals like this one prioritize fan welfare alongside the excitement of the game.
So, while Ladbroke is lighting up Anfield’s pitch side screens, they’re also committed to keeping the relationship between football and betting on the right track.
