Liverpool will don the new 2022-23 Kit next season. This seems to be one of the most iconic designs from Nike which has gained a lot of attention across the Reds fans. This jersey has one of the best designs in the history of the club.
Usually, home and away kits are based on traditional designs; the pattern for the third kit is always different. The third kit always experiments with different patterns & colours. We have seen this happen with all clubs in the past in recent years.
This also happened when Liverpool were sponsored by New Balance. Liverpool fans can never forget the ‘thunderous’ offer for the 2016-17 jersey or the 2018-19 grey violet shirt. Those were some of the great pieces the Reds had that time. While sometimes, kits have also been part of controversies.
However, Nike is up to launch the club’s ‘boldest’ kit next season. Footy Headlines also gave a leak on the design for 2022-23. The base of the shirt is black. There are other strange designs and we have to see how it appears.
Liverpool 2022-23 third Kit leaked
The Liverpool crest will be in red alongside the Nike logo and Standard Chartered sponsors in the middle. The design may change until the release date next year. But Footy Headlines are generally credible in terms of leaked kits.
On the other hand, Liverpool will have a purple shade to their goalkeeper’s kit. The goalkeeper’s kit was also leaked for the 2022-23 season. The jersey has two shades of purple along with black logos.
It is not the first time a Liverpool goalkeeper will be wearing purple. The 2014-15 home kit, 2013-14 away kit and the 2011-12 away kit all had the same colour. Thus, these are the highlights of the kits Liverpool players have worn in the past. However, this time around, Nike has come up with a bold design for the players so let’s wait and watch for the official release.
