Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp feels his tenure at Anfield is not over yet, however, he is not in a mood to talk about his long-term future. Klopp still thinks his job with the Merseyside club is far from over.
Meanwhile, newly appointed Aston Villa manager and former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard had his say on Jurgen Klopp during his press conference. He wishes that Jurgen Klopp would sign a life-long contract with The Reds as Klopp is doing a great job for Liverpool. It is believed that Gerrard is supposed to be Klopp’s successor at Anfield.
Under the current deal, Klopp’s contract is set to expire in 2024. This will complete the German’s nine years of stay at Liverpool. Moreover, it will be his longest stay anywhere so far and thus he is in no hurry to leave the place. Klopp will surely be happy with what he has achieved so far in his stay with the Merseyside giants.

During the pre-match press conference ahead of the Arsenal clash at the weekend, Jurgen Klopp said
I need not think of all this right now. Thank God because we are in the middle of the season and that is all we are focused on.
No manager is asked regularly about what happens in three or four years. I do not want to think about it. It is all good now. It will be over when it is over. So let us focus on the present.
Jurgen Klopp has all his focus set on Arsenal’s visit after Liverpool’s unbeaten run was halted by West Ham United. The Reds have lately had injuries which they will have to deal with. It will be a tough test for Liverpool when they host Arsenal this weekend as the Gunners are unbeaten in their last 8 fixtures.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp also commented about the recent international break saying:
I hate international breaks. Absolutely, it did not help. It did not help us from injuries. Had we played a week later, our players would have got two days of rest.
Liverpool knows that if they are to compete for the title, they need results. For that to happen they need to be at their very best. Arsenal have been good lately and will also look to consolidate and capitalize on their form. Thus, a mouth-watering fixture awaits for the fans at Anfield.
