With 10 games left in the current Premier League season, the race for the title is heated up. However, it looks like this season it’s all about one team show, Liverpool.
The title race has become more like a dominance game for the Reds as the second-place Arsenal are losing the grip day by day. So, now the question arises how early Liverpool can secure the Premier League title.
Liverpool extended the lead to 13 points from the second place Arsenal. The Merseyside extended the lead after beating Newcastle United this week while Arsenal finished their match with a draw with Nottingham Forest.

No way of catching for Liverpool as their brilliant form continues
Arsenal dropped points back-to-back in two matches after losing to West Ham United last week. Now they made a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest this week.
On the other hand, the Reds are extending the gap more and more. According to BBC News, Nottingham Forest legend Martin O’Neill, watching, said:
“I think tonight is the result that finished it.
I cannot see Arsenal catching Liverpool, not at all.”
Liverpool fans are confident about their title race and hoping to seal the title as soon as possible. However, Arne Slot still believes that it is still a long way. The Dutch manager said,
“It is still a long way to go, 10 games. In March we only play one Premier League game – so we are not focused on the long term.
Now the players have some days off and then we focus on Paris St-Germain [in the Champions League] more than we do on the table in the Premier League.”
The Merseysiders need another 21 from their final 10 games to mathematically seal the title. Six wins and three draws would ensure the title.
Though the hypothetical scenario of winning only five of those games and drawing the rest would be risky and slightly out of their hands.
Liverpool have played one more game (28) than Arsenal (27) until now. If Arsenal win their next match, the gap between these two will be reduced to 11 points.
After that, if both teams can win all the remaining matches, Liverpool will be able to win the title almost one month earlier than the final matchday in the Premier League.
If Arsenal dropped further points in this process, Arne Slot will taste the joy of his first Premier League title as the Liverpool manager. For that, the Reds have to continue their winning run in the league.
At the end of the season, there will be some difficult games for Arne Slot as the Reds will face Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal subsequently. However, it looks like Liverpool will seal the title at that time of point.
