This day marks the end of LFC’s summer transfer window for the ongoing season. Although the Reds had a disappointing time in the transfer market, Federico Chiesa is happy with Liverpool fans.
The newly signed talent is the one and only new face in the future lineup of the Reds. If only they could sign a couple of more new faces, LFC could have fared much better in their future clashes.
Federico Chiesa wants to thank the Liverpool supporters
Slot is mainly lacking in one area in his time at Anfield, and it is for sure in the transfer saga under his rule. Giorgi Mamardashvili might be lurking around, but he would not be here in LFC before the next year is here.
Recently, Liverpool has been successful in bringing in Federico Chiesa at a surprisingly lower price, and he thanks the fans. The Juventus ace was surprised to see his new teammates greeting him with a warm welcome to Anfield. However, one thing that blew the Italian away completely, was the reaction from the LFC supporters.
According to Federico Chiesa, he is thankful that the Liverpool fans welcomed him and made him feel good. In a video on LFC’s official X account (previously Twitter), Chiesa spoke about this.
“The media part was really nice, the announcement, the signing of the contract, the messages from the fans, the Liverpool fans. I have to thank them all because they were so kind with me.”
The 26-year-old Italian professional came to LFC and now, he is a winger. Although Federico Chiesa thanked the Liverpool fans, things might get a little bit disappointing for them. Arne Slot has confirmed that Chiesa will not be playing against Manchester United. Although he has planted himself at AXA Center already, fans will have to wait to see him in action.
