‘I’m told’: Fabrizio Romano reacts to exciting Liverpool transfer rumour he’s heard
Liverpool fans are eagerly awaiting news on potential transfers this summer, and according to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, there’s buzz surrounding PSV’s talented Belgian winger, Johan Bakayoko.
Romano revealed that while Bakayoko has been linked with clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, no formal talks have begun with PSV Eindhoven.
No Concrete Offers Yet for PSV’s Johan Bakayoko

“I’m told nothing is concrete yet for Bakayoko. Many clubs are following the exciting young Belgian winger, but no club has reached out to PSV Eindhoven yet, so we need to be patient on this one.”
Liverpool’s Need for Forward Options
Liverpool are looking to strengthen their attacking options, particularly on the right-hand side. With ongoing discussions about the suitability of Luis Diaz and other forward players, there is a strong determination to retain Diaz at the club. However, concerns remain over the depth on the right flank.
“While Liverpool has depth on the left with players like Cody Gakpo performing well, the focus remains on securing a long-term successor for Mo Salah,”
Said Romano.
Romano highlighted. Salah, a key player for Liverpool, continues to excel, but the club is keen to prepare for the future with his contract set to expire in 2025.
As negotiations and speculation continue, Liverpool supporters are hopeful that the club can bolster their squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, ensuring they remain competitive both domestically and in European competitions.
