A handful of senior stars are rumoured to be leaving the Reds squad by the end of summer this year. Fortunately, Virgil van Dijk will join training with his Liverpool teammates once he is back. The LFC elite is on holiday, and he will return in no time.
Van Dijk Will Definitely Return To Liverpool
Arne Slot took over the club at a crucial time, just before the pre-season preparations were going to start. Now, as the Copa America and 2024 Euro have ended, senior LFC stars are finally returning home.
Slot will have to deal with this. But most importantly, Virgil van Dijk is coming back to join his Liverpool teammates as well.
The team captain is finally getting his well deserved rest when there are just a few months left before Premier League.
After the Netherlands had a disappointing finish at the 2024 Euro Cup, the 33-year-old had rumors going around him. Speculations were on the rise that Van Dijk might even leave Liverpool.
After a long international tournament, Van Dijk is currently spending his time on holidays. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the LFC center back has not received any offers yet.
“Lots of rumours surrounding Liverpool captain, Virgil van Dijk, but as we already mentioned here the day after his recent statement guys, so far the situation is quiet. Liverpool have not received any proposal, Virgil is on holiday, so again it’s quiet around van Dijk and Liverpool are waiting for him to come back from his holidays.”
