Liverpool’s Concern

Jurgen Klopp is not happy with few players going for International duty due to the current Covid restrictions in England. The last time the Reds refused to send the Brazilian trio during the September international break. As England’s 10 days quarantine rule was imposed as Brazil still comes under England’s red list for Covid.

But this time neither the club nor the manager, have any power over holding the players, as the premier league ways the green flag. Liverpool faces a bigger problem with Tsimikas and Mane joining Allison and Fabinho as four players, who will be travelling to play in the red zones.

The government confirmed that fully vaccinated players returning from the red zone countries. Should be in quarantine for 10 days and leave once a day to train or to play.

As the teams, have asked the government not to quarantine the players. Liverpool has a bigger problem with Brazil playing three games this international break.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will be travelling to Vicarage Road on October 16th to face Watford, while Brazil’s last game is on Friday night October 15th. Thus, it won’t be possible for the Brazilians to fly back from different time zones and play for the reds after their international break.

Klopp is furious saying

”It is Liverpool’s problem and nobody else’s, and good for Watford”.

Unfortunately, the decision is in the hands of the government, but the clubs are expecting that the authority will provide a fair solution for the clubs and the players.
