Caoimhin Kelleher looks set to leave Liverpool in the upcoming summer transfer window.
West Ham United want to sign the 26-year-old goalkeeper, who has served as backup to Alisson Becker for several seasons.
Despite several strong performances, Kelleher has struggled to earn consistent first-team opportunities at Anfield. With Liverpool reportedly targeting Giorgi Mamardashvili, Kelleher’s chances of regular starts could decrease even further.
This situation has prompted interest from clubs like West Ham, who are actively looking to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
West Ham view Kelleher as a potential upgrade over the current options. Alphonse Areola and Lukasz Fabianski have both faced criticism for inconsistency.

Kelleher in search for game time
Fabianski’s contract is also nearing its end, increasing the urgency to find a long-term solution. Kelleher, eager for regular playing time, could benefit from a move where he can become the first-choice goalkeeper.
His calmness under pressure and strong distribution skills make him a good fit for West Ham manager’s system.
Liverpool reportedly value Kelleher at around £22 million according to Transfermarkt. That price may attract other interested clubs, including Newcastle United and Chelsea, who have also shown interest in recent months.
Kelleher has made 67 appearances for Liverpool and kept 24 clean sheets, as per Transfermarkt. His performances in cup matches and European competitions have shown he can perform at the top level.
Republic of Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrímsson has publicly urged Kelleher to seek regular football. The national team wants him to play consistently to maintain his international form.
A move to West Ham could give Kelleher the platform to establish himself as a Premier League starter.
With both club and player aligned in their needs, this transfer could benefit all parties involved. Talks are expected to progress as the summer window approaches.
