Before the transfer window closes another Liverpool player could leave adding to the teams recent losses and further reducing its depth which would be concerning.
Kostas Tsimikas is reportedly considering a late move away from Anfield which means Liverpool could be about to lose another important player as the transfer window closes.
Following the recent departures of Bobby Clark, Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho journalist David Lynch speculates that the Greek defender who has primarily filled in for Andy Robertson may be the next to go.
Lynch stated raising the possibility of a last-minute move,
“I still do have this inkling about Tsimikas. Sources close to the player’s camp have been very tight-lipped in situations where maybe they previously wouldn’t be.”
This suggests that there could be something substantial behind the rumors, and with the transfer window closing soon, any interested club would need to move quickly to secure Tsimikas’ services.
Another Liverpool player leaving before the transfer window ends
Given that Liverpool haven’t added any players this summer the possible departure of Tsimikas would be a major challenge for the team.
The teams current roster have impressed manager Arne Slot but if players continue to leave without returning the team may find itself in a vulnerable situation.
Lynch noted the ambiguity surrounding Tsimikas circumstances,
“There’s only a week left of the window, so if any club’s coming in, they’ll have to move quickly to get this sorted. But I’ve just got a sneak that there’s something there.”
Tsimikas departure would put additional pressure on Liverpool’s depth especially in defense where the team might have to give priority to signing a new center back and if more players leave in the last few days of the transfer window a central midfielder.
Lynch said as she finished. Neither Liverpool nor the players side is discounting that one. indicating that it might be wise to keep a close eye on this situation in the days to come.
Liverpool fans worry that their club might not be able to have the squad depth that a Premier League contender club should have.
