The 27-year-old will be staying with the Reds until 2026 as he signs a new 5 year deal with the club. On continuing his Journey with the Liverpool football club, Robertson said

I want to stay at this club for as long as possible and to extend my stay. It’s always a happy time for me, for my family. We’re settled here, we love everything about this football club and I’m glad that the journey is continuing.

The Scotland international joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Hull City. Since Joining the club Andy Robertson has become a crucial member of the first team.

Robertson further said

When you sign for a massive club, I still remember the day as if it was yesterday when I signed here and obviously you have ambitions to become a regular player for Liverpool, to win trophies for this club, to do everything else but the way it’s gone has been excellent.

Joining the club four years back Robertson has made 177 appearances for the Reds. In his 4 years-long journey with the club, the left-back has achieved immense success. Thus, Robertson has played an important part in winning a Premier League title, a Champions League trophy, a FIFA Club World Cup and a UEFA Super Cup for the Reds.

The Liverpool defender has yet to achieve a lot with the club as he continues with his statement saying

We want to achieve more, we want to bring hopefully more trophies, more happiness to this club.

The only way of doing that is by working hard and having the same application that we have done since day one.

The Scotland captain is currently focusing on returning from an injury he suffered in the Pre-Season. Moreover, Robertson would be eager to start for the Reds in the upcoming clash against Chelsea.
