Within the end of next summer or the next month, the contracts of a lot of senior LFC stars are going to expire. Amidst different speculations, we spotted Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk in full gear at the AXA center.
Before their next match starts, the Reds are following a strict training regime under Arne Slot. With senior and experienced players on their side, Liverpool will have a good chance at any future endeavour.
Why Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are training in full gear?
Apart from their recent loss in the 2024-25 Premier League, Liverpool is recovering quickly. However, LFC can have problems with a couple of senior stars who have not renewed their contracts, including the Liverpool Captain himself.
On Thursday, we spotted Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk in full Liverpool gear at the AXA Training Base. This has made a lot of the fans excited regarding their future at Anfield. They are among the few stars along with Mohamed Salah who are yet to renew their contract with the Merseyside Club.
However, there is no such contract renewal declarations from the club yet, and some fans will be disappointed to hear this. Actually, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold were there for a full photography session from the club. Liverpool was just having their annual team photo at the AXA Kirkby Training ground.
Apart from the Captain and the Vice Captain, the whole team showed up in their signature kit. Shortly after having breakfast with the Anfield Boss and other officials, the Reds arrived outside for the session.
Regarding their intentions, Alexander-Arnold or Van Dijk have not given any statements till now. Mohamed Salah’s agent Ramy Issa has recently denied news about the Egyptian’s ‘desperate’ intentions.
