Manchester City have beat Arsenal and Liverpool to the signing of 2008 born Chelsea Wonderkid Ryan McAidoo.
Manchester City have overcome interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea three of their biggest rivals in a statement signing for the Manchester City academy.
Ryan McAidoo Joins Man City Amidst Liverpool And Arsenal Links
According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano:
“Manchester City have completed deal to sign talent Ryan McAidoo who’s left Chelsea Academy this summer. 2008 born gem signs for #MCFC on long term deal, marquee signing for City Academy; big one for Thomas Krucken and Sam Fagbemi.”
16 year old Ryan McAidoo is left-footed winger playing for England at under 17 level. Chelsea lifted under 17 Premier League last season thanks to his performances.
Arsenal and Liverpool were interested in signing McAidoo, but the 16 year old decided to join Manchester City.
McAiddo is represented by PLG football agency managed by Tyler Alexander-Arnold who is the brother of Liverpool start Trent Alexander-Arnold. But that didn’t stop him from joining Manchester City. Many Manchester City fans believe this was revenge for Chelsea signing Cole Palmer last season.

Chelsea made huge efforts to keep McAidoo at the club, However the 16 year old decided to join Manchester City. McAidoo is a highly versatile player and can play in various attacking positions.
