Mohamed Salah isn’t just scoring goals — he’s raising eyebrows and sounding alarms, as Liverpool’s shaky defense risks turning their Premier League title charge into a nightmare.

Liverpool are top of the table right now in the Premier League thanks to their brilliant performance in the league. However, the Reds drew two of their last five matches in the league and dropped four points.

The last match against Aston Villa in the Premier League ended in a 2-2 draw. After the game, Mohamed Salah expressed his thoughts about the match and looked a little upset about the result.

Mohamed Salah is not happy

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah scored in the Aton Villa match. However, the match ended in a 2-2 draw as both teams failed to score the deciding goal. After the match, Salah talked about their performance in the game. Mohamed Salah said,

“When you are one of the senior players in the group you have to care not just on the field. I was downstairs early and Virgil came in second and we were just talking about the result [against Villa], that we are not happy and what we can improve and what we can change.”

Liverpool have a total of 17 shots in the match against Aston Villa, eight more than Aston Villa. The Reds are at the top of the table.

But Arsenal are certainly in the second position in the league and is eager to close down the gap. So, a points drop for Liverpool like this will certainly open the door for Arsenal to reduce the gap.

One thing Liverpool need to consider in their last five matches. That is their defending zone. The Reds have only one clean sheet in their last five matches across all competitions.

With only 12 matchdays left in the league, the race to win the Premier League has heated up. That’s why probably Mohamed Salah is concerned about the performance of the team against Aston Villa.
