According to latest reports Liverpool are one of clubs interested in signing 19 year old Belgian winger Matias Fernandez-Pardo. Liverpool are the only club in the Premier League yet to make a signing.
Fernandez-Pardo is the latest name to be linked with a move to Anfield. The 19 year old currently plays for Belgian club Gent.

However Liverpool are not alone in the race to sign the 2005 born winger. Newly promoted sides Leicester and Southampton are also monitoring the forward’s situation.
According to Chris Wheatley:
“Liverpool, Leicester, and Southampton are monitoring highly-rated 19-year-old Gent forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo.”
“Represented solely by his father, the youngster could be set for a summer exit ahead of the 30 August deadline.”
Fernandez-Pardo joined Gent in 2020. For two seasons he played for the Gent B team, he made 38 appearances for the B team. He first appeared for the first team in the 22/23 season. From the 23/24 season he became a regular first team player.
Fernandez-Pardo is a highly-rated talent across Europe and can play either as a striker or on the left. At the moment Matias Fernandez-Pardon is not player Liverpool require. Liverpool currently need someone who’s can play on the right, a long term replacement for club legend Mo Salah.
Liverpool have Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz to play on the left, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez to play as a No.9. However Fernandez-Pardo can be considered as a long-term project.
