Liverpool are 11 games away from lifting the Premier League title. Discover the one thing that could be advantageous for the Reds in the last lap of their pursuit for domestic glory this season.
The club from Merseyside currently holds an eleven point buffer over second-placed Arsenal. Following the confirmation of results from the weekend in England’s top flight, Liverpool FC secured a 2-0 victory at the home of defending champions, Manchester City.
Arsenal suffered their first home loss of the season against West Ham United in a London derby.
Mikel Arteta’s side are the closest team to the Reds and have a game in hand. But the current gap between both teams seems like a lot even for Arsenal.
It would surely take something extraordinary for LFC to miss out on the EPL title this campaign.

Anfield is the fortress in the title race of Liverpool
Out of the 11 remaining matches for Arne Slot’s men, the Reds will play seven of those fixtures at Anfield, leaving just four away games left for the season.
One of the standout matches in the Reds run-in, is a home game against Arsenal in May, a match which could have a say in who claims the Premier League crown come the end of the season.
While Liverpool boast the best home and away record this season, Anfield will have a key role to play till the end of the season as their beloved club looks to lift the PL title for only the second time in thirty-plus years.
The 11 fixtures left for Slot’s team in the league are: Newcastle(H), Southampton(H), Everton(H), Fulham(A), West Ham(H), Leicester(A), Tottenham(H), Chelsea(A), Arsenal(H), Brighton(A) and Crystal Palace(H).
As per thisisanfield, while speaking to Sky Sports following the victory at Manchester City, Arne Slot said,
“A week ago we experienced how difficult Wolves at home was. Eleven games to go and they will all be difficult, like the one today.”
The head coach further added,
“It is probably also easier for us not to get excited because we know what we have to put in. This result was more about defence than it was about attack.”
